Having a witness to your story, to know you aren’t alone in your experience is a powerful and necessary component for healing.
Developed to specifically work with and address developmental trauma, it crosses the barriers of non-verbal and recognizes that through regulation, the client can begin to change their story about their non-verbal, early trauma and gain greater capacity. In this place of safety, the client experiences attachment focused protocols which are consistent and measured for repairing early ruptures and the consequences.

  • Increased ability to cope and manage stress

  • Improved interpersonal relationships and skills

  • Decrease in pain and chronic symptoms

  • The ability to meet life with more joy and fulfillment

An opportunity to heal

The benefits that one can experience as a result of this work is limitless. These listed above are just to name a few.

  • The ability to meet life with more joy and fulfillment

One On One: Somatic touch work (Transforming Touch®) is an attachment-focused neurophysiological method of hands-on and intentional healing. I am offering both online and in-person touch sessions at this time. Transforming Touch® is an effective way of facilitating regulation within the client’s nervous systems. For Transforming Intentional Touch®, all the protocols and enhancements have been tweaked to work without physical touch. The power of working with intention has been expressed and shared by Healers from around the world. Some actually believe it is much stronger than using physical touch.

The Healing Collective offers an opportunity to come together in a community that is focused on healing while in the comfort of your own space.
Designed to provide care that is both accessible and affordable – eliminating many of the barriers for receiving quality care.

What is virtual somatic support?

Virtual somatic support uses a trauma-informed modality called Transforming Intentional Touch® – it follows a specific protocol which has been adapted to support the healing and regulation of the nervous system in a virtual setting.

Who Is This For?

This is for you if:

  • You are seeking somatic support that regulates your nervous system

  • You want to support the integration of other trauma informed therapies i.e. EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Ketamine, etc.

  • You like the option to receive somatic support in the comfort of your own space

  • You want access to somatic support without being on a waitlist and/or still be able to receive healing while waiting to see a practitioner 1-on-1

  • You are new to somatic work and want an experience of what somatic therapy has to offer

  • You want a more accessible price point for receiving somatic therapy

How It Works

Virtual Group Sessions uses the trauma-informed healing modality called Transforming Intentional Touch®.
In these sessions we will create the scaffolding that gives your system support, addressing all aspects of you to increase the functioning in all areas.

The effects are cumulative creating a gradual build of resilience which allows your system digestible experiences.
That’s why it’s important to allow yourself to experience at least 6-8 consecutive sessions.

The protocol follows a specific framework that activates the brain’s ability to create and build new neural pathways called neuroplasticity – support is focused on the brain stem, adrenals and limbic system.

Neuroplasticity is the ability of the nervous system to change its activity in response to intrinsic or extrinsic stimuli by reorganizing its structure, functions, or connections after injuries and/or trauma – – thus creating the possibility and opportunity for healing.

The Setup

The First on boarding call is free and is mandatory in order to join the group. I will educate you on the nervous system and more on how Transforming Intentional Touch® supports your nervous system. I will be sending you supporting material before the on boarding call. There will be time for questions and answers. If there is enough time, we will proceed with a somatic session. 1 hour

Sessions are held weekly over Zoom – participants have the option to keep their camera on or off during the session.

Session are 50 minutes

Having Someone Witness Your Body’s Story

Squiggle line lt grn

The early bond with our primary caregivers is indeed foundational to our sense of security and well-being. When disruptions occur in this primal connection, whether due to biological factors, medical interventions, or the caregiver’s own challenges, it can deeply impact our ability to self-regulate and feel secure.

Co-regulation of the body and nervous system through TT is a vital part of healing. The presence of a compassionate, attuned witness helps soothe our nervous system and teach our bodies to regulate on the biological level. This co-regulation helps rebuild the body’s natural internal resources and capacity for self-regulation. During treatment, these newly developed skills become robust and self-sustaining, creating greater emotional resilience and stability.

Learning Difficulties

When the body is in a chronic state of fight or flight, the sympathetic nervous system becomes dominant, prioritizing survival over other functions. The brain’s focus is on immediate threats, making it difficult for new information to be processed or retained effectively. The body’s physiological stress responses can overwhelm cognitive functions and impede learning.

Regulation helps shift the nervous system out of this survival mode and activates the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the body to attain balance. This state is often referred to as the “rest and digest” mode. In this regulated state, the brain integrates new information more effectively, making learning not only easier but also more enjoyable. When our bodies feel safe and regulated, our cognitive resources are freed up for higher-order processes like learning, creativity, and problem-solving.

Psychedelic Therapy Support

Psychedelics can have profound effects, but their impact varies widely depending on the individual’s mental and emotional state.

For those with a dysregulated nervous system, psychedelics can lead to overwhelming experiences rather than facilitating healing. The therapeutic benefits of these substances are often linked to their ability to help integrate and make sense of the experience, which can be challenging if the nervous system is not regulated or prepared to integrate the new information.

Prepping the nervous system with TT work can help create a more stable foundation for the psychedelic experience. Additionally, focusing on integration in the body after the experience ensures integration of the insights and allows for more fundamental shifts. TT therapy before the psychedelic experience and after facilitates a more balanced and sustained impact rather than a fleeting or potentially destabilizing one.

Fertility/Pregnancy/Post Pregnancy

Squiggle line grn

Stress management and nervous system regulation can impact conception, pregnancy and fetal development. The HPA axis plays a major role in the body’s stress response, and during pregnancy, it is activated three times than normal, leading to increased cortisol production. This is a natural response, but how the mother’s nervous system manages stress beforehand can influence the body’s activation while trying to conceive and during pregnancy.

Transforming Touch® focuses on nervous system regulation, and can help recalibrate how the body interprets and handles stress. By supporting the mother’s ability to stay regulated, this can also positively influence the development of the baby’s nervous system, potentially fostering a more balanced stress response in the child. This modality helps set up both the mother and baby for better resilience and health throughout pregnancy and beyond.
